What we believe
Statement of beliefs

1) We believe that there is one God, who reveals Himself and is eternally existent in three persons-the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Therefore we believe each person of this trinity is equally God (Matthew 28:19; 1 Cor. 6:44; Cor. 8:6; Rom. 1:7; Isa. 9:6; Jn. 1:1; Acts 5:3; Heb. 9:14; Jn. 4:24)

 2) We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of God the father, and in His personal future return to earth in power and glory. (Isa. 7:14; Luke 1:26-33; 1 Pet. 2:22; 1 John 3:5; Matt. 24:30-36; John 14:1-3 1 Cor. 15:21-23)

3) We believe that the God Of Christianity (Yahweh - Jesus Christ - Holy Spirit) is the creator of all things, is all powerful, all knowing and sovereign to do as He wills.(Acts 14:15; Jer. 32:17; Eph. 3:20; Psa.129:1-4; 1 Sam 2:6-9)

4) We believe that Jesus was literally conceived and born as flesh and blood of a virgin named Mary. (Isa 7:14; Luke 1:26-33)

5) We confess that all humanity has fallen short of God’s glory and is in need of salvation: hence the reason Jesus came to rescue us. The only means of being cleansed from sin is through faith in Jesus Christ and His precious blood He willingly shed for us. (Rom. 3:23; Rom. 6:23; Jn. 14:6; Jn. 3:16; Rom. 1:4; Rom. 5:8)

6) We believe that Jesus led a sinless life and fulfilled the requirement of the law: Thereby being qualified to forgive our sins with His blood. (1 Pet. 2:22; 1 Jn. 3:5)

7) We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation. (Ezek. 36:26-27, 37:14; Jn. 3:5-8; Titus 3:5-6; Ephesians 5:25-27)

8) We declare that salvation and healing is in none other than through the name, person, work, life, death, resurrection, and grace of Jesus Christ alone. We believe that the redemptive work of Jesus Christ on the cross, together with all the wounds inflicted upon His body, provide healing for the human body as well as salvation for the soul. (Isa. 53:5; Matt. 8:17; 1 Pet. 2:24; Jn. 14:6; Rom. 1:4, 5:8)

9) We believe that those who die refusing God’s salvation spend eternity separated from the Father. ( Psa. 9:17, 73:12-19; Matt. 25:46; 2 Tim. 2:10)

10) We confirm that those who belong to Christ will inherit eternal life. (Dan. 12:2-3; John 3:16, 17:3; 2 Cor. 4:17)

11) We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to the Scripture in Acts 24, is given to believers who ask for it. (1 Cor. 12:13; Luke 3:16; Acts 2:4)

12) We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling presence the Christian believer is enabled to live a godly life. (1 Cor. 3:16, 6:19; 2 Cor. 6:16; Isa. 63:11)

13) We earnestly await the return of our King and the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the saved to everlasting life and the lost to everlasting condemnation.(Rev. 20:13 Matt 24:46; John 14:1-3; 1 Cor. 15:21-23)

14) We believe in the baptism of the believer through personal decision by complete immersion in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit-that name being the Lord Jesus Christ. We do this as a testimony of faith and obedience to Jesus Christ (Matt. 28:19-20; 1 Pet. 3:21; Acts 2:38-41; Jn. 3:5; Acts 22:16)

15) We regard worship as the very foundation upon which every rite of the Christian faith stands (Exo. 20:3; Matt. 22:38; Jn. 4:23; Rev 4) 16) We observe communion (the bread and the cup) as a means to remember our Lord and what He did for us. (Luke 22:19; 1 Cor. 11:24)

17) We believe in the Scripture of the Old and New Testaments as inspired by God and that the Holy Bible, in its entirety, contains the entire doctrinal belief of this church. (2 Tim. 3:16; Jn. 17:17; 1 Thess. 2:13; 1 Cor. 2:13; 1 Cor. 14:37; 2Pet 1:20-21)

18) We believe that God created human beings as male or female and did so with no error. (Genesis 1:27, 5:2; Mark 10:6)

19) We believe in marriage and God purposed this to be between a man and a woman. (1 Cor. 7:4; 1 Cor. 7:2; Deut. 24:5; 1 Cor. 7:3; Eph. 5:23; Mark 10:8)

20) We hold all 66 books of the Bible as the only inspired Word of God: acceptable and sacred Holy Scripture. (2 Timothy 3:16; Galatians 1:8)

21) We testify that Christ holds the supreme authority above all people, governments, nations and laws. (Phil. 2:9; Col. 1:18, 2:10 Eph. 1:22; Heb. 1:4) 22) We joyfully observe Christ as the head of His Church. He alone should govern it. (Eph. 1:22, 5:23; Col. 1:18, 2:10)
